Personal Entry No. 64 (Or: Personal Entry No. 61 ½)

I should have written earlier, but two days ago I was notified that I've been accepted into the Critical Language Scholarship Program -- I'll be going to either Kazan, Ufa, or Vladimir this summer! There will be more on that and other things this weekend.

With summer in mind, the temperature outside has reached 43°F (6°C). I'm feeling more alive than I have in months.

Keep updating us about it, please ~ It sounds really exciting! *A* ♥♥♥♥♥

That's great! I'm sure it's much better than how it was! Hopefully it'll keep getting better and better there ~We're currently at 81°F ...I think we skipped spring here LOL @A@

Thank you so, so much! I'll do my best to keep everyone updated (though not about the boring paperwork that I have to fill out right now).

We ended up getting a blizzard on Saturday, haha. It seems that a lot of people here wouldn't mind skipping spring right now!

THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! (WHAT VOWEL IS MORE IMPORTANT IN "YOU?") The local grocery store charges $5.99 per pound for celebratory cheese, but this is as good an occasion as any to splurge on it!

Thank you! :') I'm always inspired by your hard work, so you're partially responsible for this!

Wow, congrats! I hope you'll have a great time there, I'm looking forward to hearing more about the details!

Oh, and that sounds really nice - I wouldn't mind getting those warm temperatures sent to my place, haha. This week has been really cold, some days ago we had -35°C (-31°F) which was the lowest temperature noted in my village so far this winter. At least the days are getting longer and longer, though.

Thank you! I'll keep everyone posted.

It's apparently -12°C right now, since the powers-that-be decided that we didn't quite deserve spring yet : there was a blizzard on Saturday, and today there was even more snow (but it was the gentle, flaky kind, so I didn't mind as much). (I don't think it ever gets as cold as -35°C here, though -- it's almost beyond my imagination!) It's good that it doesn't get dark by 4:30 anymore, at least.

That's a gorgeous icon, by the way!

Thanks! You know, if this program goes well, I just might try to apply to study in Japan next year -- the program takes graduating seniors, too, apparently.
