Personal Entry No. 9
I finally sent in my submission for the Fanbook, so I can get started on the icon requests soon. I'm sorry for the wait, everyone!
I also finally received a letter from my school stating that I made the Dean's List for last semester, which was a great relief even though I knew my GPA not long after I returned home. In May. Over two months ago. I shouldn't be whining about something so minor, though.
Leave me a comment and I will give you a letter. Then, write 10 things that you love starting with that letter. Post the list in your journal. Give out letters to your commenters in return.
This one was from
mairenn_k, who gave me the letter "A."
1. Apples.
2. Anton Chekhov's stories.
3. Antirrhinum (snapdragons).
4. Aquilegia (columbines).
5. Antiques (mostly old bottles, books, and assorted things that are slightly useless).
6. Autumn.
7. Archie and Mehitabel.
8. Astronomy.
9. Anna Akhmatova's poems.
10. April1st.
I had to stretch it somewhat, but that's not half bad!
Setting that aside, we'll be leaving at 3:00 today to take our dashingly-handsome older cat to the vet's for a check-up. Kipper's been diagnosed with both diabetes and thyroid problems, and--while he doesn't mind his insulin shots--he despises his medicine. Does anyone have any good ideas for giving pills to cats?

I too would suggest trying to put the pills in food, otherwise really the only thing to do would be one person to hold him, another to pretty much shove the pill in, unkind as that sounds. :|;; We've had problems with giving our cat pulls before too, and it's uncomfortable but sometimes there's no other way.

As it stands, that's what we've been doing up to now. :( I hope he gets used to the taste of the pills.
